ERRWOOD HALL BURIAL GROUND - SK007749
This private cemetry is on the hill behind Errwood Hall - most easily approached on the winding path up from the Castedge ruins. It has commanding views over the local area even now and this would have been even better when originally installed. A mausoleum stood nearby but this was demolished when it fell into disrepair. As well as family members there is also the grave of John Butler who was captain of the Grimshawe's yacht Mariquita.
