SLIPPER LOW guidestoop

Located opposite Slipper Low farm with Minninglow in the background.

This is a limestone guidestoop now used as a gatepost. The lettering is difficult to decipher but the directions are to Ashbourne, Derby, Chesterfield and Buxton .

The original site of this stoop was thought to have probably been at the former crossroads at 222566.
